PPG Fireworks FestivalMI Green Team is pleased to announce the 2nd annual PPG Fireworks Festival to be held at the beautiful and historic Packard Proving Grounds on Wednesday July 3rd starting at 5pm, followed by the Shelby Township DDA Independence Day Fireworks at 10pm. The family-friendly celebration will offer a full schedule of live entertainment, tons of kids activities, yummy concessions, fun shopping, and much more. Passes are available on-line at the links in the right side bar and a limited number at the gate. A $10 parking and admission pass includes on-site parking for one passenger vehicle and admission for one guest. Tickets for additional vehicle occupants and walk-ins is $5 each. Gates open at 5pm. Pets, coolers, fireworks, alcohol, weapons and outside food & drink are prohibited. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Due to a scheduling conflict, the festival's rain date (July 10th) has been cancelled. There will be no rain date for the festival. The Shelby Twp fireworks rain date is July 4th. The fireworks will be visible throughout the Shelby Township DDA Van Dyke corridor. Festivities will be provided at the Packard Proving Grounds at 49965 Van Dyke Ave. The township will host families at Ford Field Park at 7460 23 Mile Road.
